Bertie not being at the TDF.
  • Paris Roubaix and the Galibier/Alpe d'Huez stages of the Tour. Wish I was going to see them, hold on a minute, I am! Gonna be ace!

Seeing if Cav can get Milan-San Remo, the green jersey, WC and Paris-Tours in the same season.

Hushovd winning a monument in the rainbow jersey.

    An open and exciting Tour.

    Spring Classics.

Alot of guys seem really motivated for them. Gilbert for the Ronde and LBL. Haussler for Flanders. Hushovd for P-R. Boonen for Flanders and P-R. Plus EBH and Breschel. Should be awesome. BMC seem to have decent classics riders who may now have some freedom to lead. Garmin-Cervelo will be an absolute powerhouse.

    1. Armstrong Circus NOT hogging the limelight.

    2. Cycle Sport & ProCycling with NO Armstrong front covers.

    3. No more DULL 2nd last day summit finishes i.e. Ventoux,Tourmalet (hopefully)

    4. Wiggins & Sky - cut out the Bulls**t and just race eh.

I love Paris - Nice, always seems like the start of the season to me as its usually the first racing on TV.
Also love seeing a different side to France than from the tour, roads banked with snow going through central France, no sunflower fields, etc
I am looking forward to it already

Watching LBL and Amstel Gold from the roadside for the first time. And, all being well, the last day of the Tour in Paris. :D

  • The Giro and the Tour BOTH being open races and hard to call (this far in advance).

I'm just hoping we get to see as much cycling on tv as we did last year. This season was the best I can remember in a long time, so I can only hope next season is as good.
