I have a campy lockring tool, like this:

It seems too tight to fit the lockring that came with my 11-25 record 11spd cassette. Is there an 11speed specefic one?

  • No, AFAIK don't think so. There is a specific lock ring for cassettes with an 11 tooth cog, so as long as you have the right one, the tool should be fine. But, even the 11t specific lock ring is the same spline pattern.

I have both 9 speed and 11 speed Campag. For whatever reason the lockring tool is a much tighter fit on 11 speed and needs a bit of "encouragement" to engage.
