I just popped into town at lunch to look for some base layer bottoms. I decided to have a quick look in Aldi and they have got quite a lot of decent stuff thats very cheap.
Obiously its no comparisson to the high end bike gear you can get but for someone who will go out a few times this winter theres a good range.
I got a pair of the lycra elastic 3/4 bottoms to cover my kness for 9.99 and they had jackets, base tops etc too.
Worth a look if youre passing.
Mountain warehouse has a good range too that taylored for MTB.
