Really dumb question. Ive got a wired cateye left over from when i upgraded my road bike, and just picked up my MTB last night.
In prep for riding it, i was going to put the CC on tonight, but suddenly though about how to fit it. Will i need to bin the CC and upgrade to the wireless Strada due to the travel on the forks affecting the reading?

the travel on the forks won't affect anything. Just stick it on there.0 -
Really? If the magnets on the spoke, and the forks is moving out of contact when compressed etc, that affects the reading?0

The whole wheel moves together with the lowers of the fork. You don't attach the cc to the stanchions on the fork, but rather to the lowers, so you will be alright.0
