    Most excellent news. Now if only they'd go further west. Hell, if they got as far as Shepherds Bush I might even be able to leave my bike at home.

    Not that I'd really want to do that anyway, who am I kidding?

    An extra 1,500 docking stations will be added to the existing hire area in central London.

    That's pretty impressive!

    Great to see how popular it has been and it been a real 'nudge' type way to get more people to try cycling in London. (despite what some bloggers were saying before it started - http://hembrow.blogspot.com/2009/03/vel ... hared.html)

    A lot of people will move on from the cycle hire to having their own bikes. Plus its useful for those times when you go into central London and can't bring your own bike.
