today my pocket feels whole again
there will be some riding, eating and purchasing all done this morning all whilst "working"
on a down side the Jaaaaaaaaaag is in for its MOT today, i'm pretty sure it will be fine but coming from having company cars for so long or buying and selling cars before they need MOT's i'm still pretty nervous :roll:
PS can we stop with all the 29er / Hippie bashing

Good morning!
Managed about 5hrs sleep last night. Got countless meetings today too so I'll probably end up falling asleep and getting sacked.

Another morning of "I dont want to get out of bed" and the shitty commute into the City. Love my job but hate the commute.

Bike is in the 'Dartford' depot, well it was at 01.35am this morning, so dont know if that's going to get here today or tomorrow.
Am going to keep on checking the DHL website for updates - this could make my day VERY good or equally bad....

Had a bad night's sleep due to my cat Milo being overly energetic and playful last night
I am being a webbo and still laying in bed with my MacBook propped on my lap, I need to get up but my mind keeps saying "five more minutes.." Right, let me get up and fall into the shower.... in a bout 5 minutes time..0 -

sounds like it could be a new bike day, if its already showing at the depot i recon it should be with you today. is it being delivered to home or work? it could make the commute home a bit more interesting? (i know you probably dont have shoes, helmet, shorts etc in your lunch box so riding home in a suit is far more fun)0 -

Rode in again today. Legs are starting to come back, but still a long way off. Weather's absolutely perfect - sunny, very little wind. Granted it's bleedin cold, but you can't have everything...
Need to order some High5 Zero drink tablets as, for a sports drink, they don't taste too bad, with the added bonus (for me anyway) of having no sugar.
In other news (of the good variety), one of my lowest class minions won the office bonus ball lottery, so she's buying the coffees this morning.
I also have to pick up a package from the Post Office. Could be my battery being returned from Homer's Double or my carbon fibre jockey wheels. Ooooh the excitement!

Hopefully today will be less rubbish than yesterday, which was my birthday, but most of which was spent in bed, throwing up or sat on the loo.
My wife's cake baking was postponed though, so maybe I will get some today instead.0 -
Yah morning all. Nice sunny morning, feeling good.
Today I will be mostly grazing on roots, shoots, leaves and cake in readiness for The One Night Ride To End Them All around Cannock. I haven't been out on my bike for three whole days and I am getting withdrawal symptoms

undecided how today's going to go.
On the plus side I've managed to get a set of the £15 Superstar Ti skewers, made enough room to fit the trainer into the bike shed, last night started the colossal task of converting my CD collection into MP3 and rediscovered Warp and Bleep. Oh and all the Christmas shopping is finished!
On the down side I only managed about 60 CDs out of nearly 700, bank account is now almost empty and it's not pay day until next Friday.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

i forgot to say, last nights ride was somewhat different, i was feeling rather Ghey and not wanting to get too muddy so went off to find some urban DH i had some good fun on the subway seps etc. 0

Bah, got rubbish sleep last night, my mum's been admitted to hospital and is having a brain scan this morning, my grans in hospital today for test on her eyes and it seems the rest of the family are ill with various problems too.

Just woke up to the lovely smell of the Cawl I made in the slow cooker last night bubbling away beautifully, nom nom nom nom nom, but to start the day, coffee, fruit toast and OJ.
