I'm sure Virgin has FX as well.

Watching it here...easily the best thing on television (and there are a few really good programmes currently on)


One thing that is pure pish though... The Event

Yes, started watching that. Got 1 and a half episodes in before deciding it was total pesh.

I watched the first 6 eps on the grounds that I have seen programmes start really badly but then turn into something half decent (e.g. Stargate universe, Defying Gravity). This just got more and more mental. I won't post examples of why it's so stupid (I think the Event is only on ep 4 there) but all I need to say is to think of something stupid. Now times that stupidity by a factor of ten and you're close the the plot developments in this show.


The Walking Dead on the other hand is amazing in every way

Need to get back into that. Something I have to procure from a source that isn't Uruguayan tv (same as SGU though HBO does Boardwalk Empire and I have Walking Dead on Fox)

while we're on the subject of sky anytime, sky have been rolling out sky anytime+ (their version of virgin on demand) does anyone actually have it yet?

We'll not be able to get it here because you have to have sky broadband as well as HD and we can't get sky broadband.

just watched that, twas excellent.

i like programs like that and i treat them as training videos should something like that happen in real life.

i now know to not go to an inhabited place, makes perfect sense really i suppose.

id go to the coast and live on a boat anchored just off the land, i reckon it would be safe enough and if anyone came for us, id just drive the boat to somewhere else.

hmm good point. still reckon as long as i was on the boat id be ok though. and id have atank for driving to the shops in.

I'm ok, provided the outbreak dosent start here, the IOM is one of the places most likely to survive a zombie infestation. Easy to lock down, relatively small population, self sufficient.
