Saturday / Sunday training rides from Sevenoaks

Hi - I've just moved to Sevenoaks from SW London and used to ride with a club in Richmond Park on Saturday mornings and Sundays in the Surrey Hills.

I was wondering if there were any local riders who wanted to get together for a good training ride around Sevenoaks but starting at a reasonable hour?

The local club seems decent but starts way too early for a sunday club run (for me) at 7am. I'm a member but don't want to dilute things.

Looking at around 9am / 9-30 start and maybe 40 miles on a Saturday.

    hi jp - i'm in tunbridge wells, but usually end up heading somewhere towards chiddingstone / north downs / edenbridge / ashdown forest at weekends. mornings aren't good tho, more like lunchtime or early afternoon. pm me if you're interested

    I live a few miles west of Sevenoaks and would like to meet up for rides on a Saturday morning.09.30 for 40/50 miles sounds just about right as I can fit it in with other commitments.

    I am in Sevenoaks too, A saturday ride sounds great and is preferable to a Sunday ride. I am up for 40-60 and can probably mange most weekends.

    Do you guys want to meet Saturday Nov 20th 09.30 at Sevenoaks Station, route to be determined on the day - about 50 miles?

    I can't make the 20th due to work, can do Sunday AM or any other weekend

    Providing the roads aren't under 6 inches of snow are you still ok for saturday morning 27th, 09.30 Sevenoaks Stn. ?

    In for tomorrow unless its snowy/icy.

    09:30 hours at station is good for a 40-50 miler

    I was out today on the bike and the roads were v slippy until lunchtime and in many places the frost had not melted by late afternoon which resulted in a few white knuckle moments .The forecast for tonight is for more frost. Do you mind if we make discretion the better part of valour and reschedule until Dec 11th?

    I shall be a no show tomorrow.A heavy cold has now turned into a chest infection which means I am hors de combat.How about next Saturday?
