Beach to Beach Ride

I'm looking forward to next summer, foolish deluded man that I am and I was thinking about having some sort of training goal to aim for through the long winter months. I'm tempted by the Asthma UK Beach to Beach ride from Bournemouth to Brighton (my wife suffers from asthma).

Did any of you do the first ride last year? Do you have any tips and advice you can offer? Apart from doing the London to Brighton a couple of times I've not done anything like this before, so any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated.

    Hey Easyriding, I've also signed up for the ride, and the route looks great! I'll be using the recumbent trike, so I was pretty happy when I noted the lack of hills!
