Cyclocross/Mountain biking in Sicily/Southern Italy

Moving to Sicily next Spring and looking to find out if there's any local/amateur cyclocross or mountain bike racing in the area. Anyone here aware of some organizations or race series that take place in the area?

    Cant really help with what you are asking but I can tell you be very carefull when riding the roads around Sicily, its a diferent world to northern Italy and very dangerous on the roads. Its a scary experience in a car driving around Trapani I cant imagine riding a bike there.
