hi guys, got a hybrid last yeah which i love, but thought id try to get a cheap road bike to use indoors on a trainer for now, and get into it next summer. got a practically brand new orbea fleche for £310 on ebay, guy just delivered it tonight and it was the usual cycletowork scheme bike, not used, now wants rid!

so looks good for the money. anyone got something similar and recommend upgrades or problems with them, are they any good? look a smart frame, but if i see any components cheap i might upgrade just to learn how to change stuff!

So was the bike rightfully his to sell in the first place, or still owned by his employer?

That aside I wouldn't bother upgrading anything just yet unless there is something you particularly don't like about the bike. Orbea are good quality bikes and something a little bit different to what people usually go for on here.

Get some mudguards on it and get out there an enjoy the Great British winter!

i dont care, it was from a copper so must be genuine enough!

ive just blown up the tyres and knacked one of the valves! are valves broken easy?

also could anyone recommend a good repair stand, wouldnt mind if it was like one bolted to the garage wall so can just lift bike up to it?
