£220 for the jockey wheels, never mind the cost of the mech!

    Judging by the amount of crap my standard jockey wheels pick up, I reckon those are going to be gummed up to hell within half a ride, what with the spokes and all.

    its then the old flat bladed screw driver trick, which you couldnt do with these.

    they'd be a pain in the obvious to clean.

    jeezuz, if it costs that much to coat a pair of, albeit very trick, jockey wheels in DLC, how freaking expensive would a set of the blackbox forks cost :shock:

    I got a few of those jockey wheels layin around somewhere, bought a few, they arnt that pricey.

    Yes, bolts are nearly always 6al/4v for a start.

    PoshBikes do a cassette in a similar coating, if it works and they actually never wear out they could be alright, XX jockeys are £120 a pair and don't last any longer than £10 Tacx ones after all!
