Mornin all on this fine day!

Morning of xbox, then buying some food supplies as the stores begin to open, then off to university, and hopefully getting my bike sold in the evening, as someone is coming to view it, and their coming from a long way away.

What's the plan batman?

Bed after finishing a 12 hour shift at 7.30. Looks like good sleeping weather out there too.
  • God, I am so tired it's unreal. Turned this hting off around 12:39am and set the alarm for 6:30 and literally had to prize myself out of bed with a spatula.

Im expecting the same old shite this morning, this afternoon AND this evening! :(

However, am awaiting my 'your bike has been dispatched email... happy days :)

  • Hideous weather this morning. We had severe Gale force winds last night. The neighbor has lost part of his fence, our patio table and chairs have relocated to the bottom of the garden. Leaves and branches everywhere.
Work promises to be even more meh.

No bad man! Roadies are fun and good fitness.

I like the fact someone is going to be buying more shiny stuff, that's always a good thing!

    Good Morning Freaks!

Today is already full of fail! Woke up to howling wind/rain, so decided to skip riding in and take the Cakemobile. Now, there's not a drop of wind and the sun's shining. :( Might have to get out for an hour this evening.

People in the office are starting to notice the 'Mo', which is a good thing...

Not had a coffee yet, but I have a full compliment of minions this morning, so that should be rectified shortly.

I clawed myself out of bed at 0900 with a large amount of MEH!

I was planning on riding over to Farnham to have a nosey at the Captain America film set but weather has defeated the last of my non meh.

Morning all. Very little to report from the weekend apart from loads of mud, leaves, wind and water.

Short sleeves and thin socks have gone into hibernation.

i've never heard of that place before, i just checked out some vids on youtube and it looks cool. was it worth the trip up there?
  • Yeh, Reckon it would be really fast in the dry and qicked, but in over 6" of mud you need good mud spikes to even hope to make the first corner :s

But yeh it was really good fun with lots of variations ont the sections so you could bolt various routes together. And the uplift service was superb to be fair to the lads in the Landies.

feel ill tried not throwing up all yesterday and didn't sleep last night. Now watching carp tv, never realised how many programmes there are on the BBC showing people houses. Can't even face coffee and tonights sausage casserole is cancelled.

Oh and it was funky sock day.
  • Afternoon all,

Wet and windy this morning, headwind had a good go at burying me.

Had a rather weird experience yesterday (and it didn’t involve PVC and lube before anyone says it). The bike club I’m in hires out an indoor velodrome sometimes over the winter and went to a session to give it a go. My good lord it was strange, track bike, fixed wheel, steep wooden banking, bring it. Never ridden fixed before, nearly forgot a couple of times but it soon reminds you. Did some pursuit style stuff and some sprints, trying to hug the bottom of the banking and convince yourself the banking will hold you takes some getting used to. All in all a fun morning, think I’ll definitely give it another go.

This week brings a 3 day week for me, got Weds and Thurs off for various tasks, Dr’s appointments and glasses shopping type things.

Biscuits and BOGOF Hula Hoops have been bought, they will soon be gone.

    Is it 5 yet?
