Routes in Gloucester (Cranham/Birdlip)

Hi,

I'm new to the area (and to XC mountian biking!) and am looking for some pointers on where to ride. I like XC singletrack mainly.

I went up and had a look between birlip and the A46 yesterday and found some stuff but I have read in a few places that there is some more riding behind the Royal William pub on the other side of the A46 to where I was riding?

I have also seen a couple of videos of a route called 'the wall' and was just wondering where this was?

I guess I'm really after a few pointers on where to enter the woods to start the routes.

    I'll plot some routes out for you tomorrow night.
    You should look into going on the cccc rides (Cheltenham and County cycling club). They go up there from Cheltenham on their weekly rides.
