I think this was done to death about a year ago, always good to see skilful girls in leotards though. The Germans call it 'kunstrad', it's even UCI recognised!

Yes, there are a few that keep on coming around but are also worth looking at again. This one, the McAskill one and the Cameroonian (?) jazz-trackstanding one always leave me amazed by the level of skill needed. (But I've seen ''It's all about performance'' enough times to last me the next 10 years...)0 -
I was hoping this was a link for porn.Giant Escape M1....
Penny Farthing
Unicycle
The bike the Goodies rode
Pogo Stick
Donkey on Roller skates.......OK I'm lying, but I am down to one bike right now and I feel bad about it,0 -
I'd like to know who their wheel builder is lol0

Impressive but I don't get the point of it. A bit like commuting to work by hanging from trees or walking on your hands....0

Just youtube the raleigh ad its pretty good like a cross between Mcaskill and a roadie - if I could access the link on my works PC I'd post it for you.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0

It's just very skillful. What's the "point" in riding a bike a hundred miles just to end up back where you started. What's the point of gymnasts balancing on a four inch wide beam, or two blokes knocking eight bells out of each other in a ring/cage.
The point is, there is no point.Tail end Charlie

Quite a lot when you think about the benefits. Apart from amusing gee whizz what else is there? Like I said I go to work on a unicycle backwards whilst reading the daily mail...and? I'm not against it, and am deeply impressed by their balance and skill, but its not that relevant to anything. Interestingly, I don't see stuff like Danny Mcaskill ins the same way, yet to be fair its probably in the same interesting but no use when the sun dies out category...0 -
I've ridden100+ plenty of times and enjoyed it and the benefits it brings, but there;s no real point other than I enjoy it and it keeps me fit.Tail end Charlie

I saw a Cirque du Soleil show in the summer, and they had a guy that did this sort of thing with such style and fluency that it was captivating. Exciting too, as he was adept at giving the illusion of impending catastrophe.
I can't even clip in first time away from the lights :?Look out kid, they keep it all hid0 -

and surely that IS the point! If nothing else it means that I and every other tax payer doesn't have to unecessarily subsidise your premature health care.0 -

Unless some numpty runs me over in the meantime.
I know, shouldn't say it even in jest.Tail end Charlie
