Well, today I'll be taking the kids out for a bit, then watching some TV, then taking the kids to see the fireworks, then preparing my stuff for tomorrows ride. I may also have a little play around with the settings on my forks.0

Having a nice big brekky, riding to my riding buddies house, and then got a group ride at 12. Gonna be a good day full of lots of climbing then swooping descents, then bratwurstel and beer.0

Morning class of '10.
Feeling rather guilty after spending too much on roadie last night, but I'd had a drink and you know what it's like.
About to consume something pig flavoured and drink some coffee.
Shall spend the morning looking for some pedals for said roadie, altthough I shall probably go with the ever reliable M520s which are only 17 bones from Merlin.
I may buy some Token road racing pedals and toeclips (no dangeous toestraps) as then I can just jump on the bike without having to use clip in shoes cleats... decisions decisions...
SHall be dossing watching movies today, no beerstuffs for me today or tonight as I had more than enough last night and I am now skint for 2 weeks due to purchase of said bike.0 -
wife is back after a week away with work, so thought we would have a family day............... but she has got jet lag and has gone to bed
Bright side is I will wake her at 12 & go out on the bike. In between do some work, play with the kids and try not to get the house too messy as we have got friends over later.0 -
Mehning all.....
Today looks like moderate meh somewhat tempered by the start of the autumn internationals, which will fill this afternoon quite nicely, other then that more meh will no doubt arrive....0 -
woke up at 20 past 70 even thou i have not much to do. both my housemates have gone home for the weekend, so almost garunteed to be on my lonesome for most of the weekend.
so far ive finished 2 modules of work, nearly finished a 3rd, and got another 2 massive ones that ive never started to do. the 2 modules ive done have taken me around about 10 hours over the last week, the 3rd is only about 2 hours,
the next module is a creative design making a model out of blue foam. thats simple, but gotta do a full design process of the damm thing, not so simple .
then ive gotta make a workbook on the process and thoughts behind a photoshop photomontage ive created.
so in summary
bored, too low on petrol to go for a ride anywhere not roadie, and bored.
did i mention bored?0 -
Good Moooooooooooooooorning CrudCatcherrrrr!
Today, I am awake. This is a good thing for no particular reason other than it means I slept well last night
At the moment, I am on 'Map Guard'. Some friends of mine are (I'm ashamed to say) queuing in Wembley to watch a program called X-Factor tonight. They've just set off to find an IKEA in the hope they have some form of chairs/blankets to purchase and i have the directions in front of me for when they get lost. If anyone is in Wembley, it would be amazing if you could deliver them hot tea/coffee on behalf of me, definite brownie points
Anywho, this afternoon I'm ripping up a carpet for some people, they want me to help bleach the floors too, but I think I'll sod off at that point :twisted:It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

the rest of the day is supposed to be a beer festival and then firework party round a mates house later.
thing is, i really want to sit on the sofa all day as last weekend and the weekend before i went out with mates so i feel my sofa time is in defecit.
what should i do?
drink and party or sit on the sofa all day?0 -

ask for a transfer to the hot tub division, then get Abs to supply the beehatches and I'll supply champagne and pimpdaddycoolawesomenessnessity and we'll make a party of it0 -
Strongbow hangover, ouch. Funniest moment last night, being propositioned by a couple of junkie hookers (one was missing some teeth and the other was squatting taking a piss, classy!). For some reason i'm pretty damn glad we laughed at them and got outta there.0

Dragged teh motorbike out the garage and left it running for a while. No-one nicked it, so that was good. Craply tried to tap a thread in an awkward position, so I've decided to just drill through and put a bolt on.
My car had developed a wobble at 1500-2000 revs, so I cleaned a few bits and sensors. Now that's gone away.
Fixed a bug in a program so now it'll wrk on macs properly <spits>.
Think I might go to the gym now.0 -
