XC FS bike for £800-£850

Looking for a XC FS bike for £800-£850

Want something that's going to last and not require too much hassle
(I'm not totally useless at maintenance but can't manage anything complicated).

I ride on road quite a bit so want something fairly fast. Been riding a Scott G-zero team until now and really liked it.

Also when is the best time to buy, presumably with the 2011 bikes coming out it's basically from now onwards or will prices for 2010 models be even better after xmas?

2010 models have been at reduced prices for some time, prices after Xmas may go up with the VAT increase.

Thanks, 16" would be too small (I should have specified the size I suppose).

I ride a medium size bike usually, also I'd go up to £900 for a real bargain.

There was an issue of wmb a few months ago that tested a load of £1000 full sussers, see if you can get your hands on a back copy.

Certainly worth holding out untill xmas for a great deal on the 2010 models, but as stated watch out for that VAT rise in the new year
