Early spring sportives

Anyone know of any good or half decent very early spring sportives? Dead disappointed to miss out on the Mad March Hare and have entered the Spring Onion instead.
Anyone know of any others in Mar/Apr- or even earlier?
I just did my first ever- Exmoor Beast- our group took our time but I loved it.
Hey and did you realise the fastest woman- and she was very quick- was dressed as a cat complete with ears and a tail about 4' long?
I think I like sportives, they seem fun!

Search for 'The Puncheur' or 'SRS events' - both do sportives in march in the south east.0

...or this one (but don't mention it's an audax ):

Think the Hell of Ashdown is the first of the year. It's usually the first Sunday in February and has snowed the past two years. It's a decent enough 100km course, and of course the chill makes it interesting.0

Deegs, I'm working on more being able to re-open the entries again at some point as soon as I've secured or confirmed the availability of more parking space at the HQhttp://www.cultracing.com

Chessire Cat then the Forest of Dean for me. Always a good start to the year. Look on this and the other usuals sites, BC etc as they have sportive calenders.
Cycling Plus also publish a calender

A new event called the Meon Valley Riser will be taking place on Sunday 3 April if you are interested. It's organised by the same people that manage the New Forest Rattler (one of those people being me ).
Full info about the event will be announced early December.
I did the Beast this year too - it was a right old slog wasn't it! Very good though!0 -

Rides in January and February are a bit of a lottery with the weather
One year I did the "Poor Student" 200km audax from Oxford, in early January. It was ok until the last 20km, when it started raining0 -
Essex Roads Spring Lambs event is great early sportive.0
