I assume you are aware that Liverpool is a City and that there are no trails there

The nearest trail centres are Northwales and delamere Forest, both about 40 mins away but there are plenty of other places to ride locally depending on what your looking for, the risk of having a bike knicked is no higher than in any other area, if its not secure dont expect it to be there when you get back :(

yeah, get the train to N.wales (wxm, cefyn y bedd or ruabon, can go roads + x country to llandegla), or macc forest/dellamere/peaks by train or drive.

liverpool, erm, sutton manor...island brow st helens?

as for getting nicked, get a cheap bike for runnaround/pub/commoute, insure the expensive one
  • Ah thank you very much for your comments, ha yes i am aware it is a city but im used to riding the hills of church stretton so was hoping there was another hidden gem near by
  • The only hill nearby is Billinge or Parbold, but it's nothing like the Long Mynd.

Llandegla is the nearest all weather signposted trail centre if that's what your after, but it is about 50 minutes away.
  • Liverpool is as flat as a pancake. Nice ride along
    the seafront but nothing special.

Nearest is parbold hill and billinge, but other than
that you'll find me at delamere or llandegla, Glentress
on a week off in the summer.

Oh and I wouldn't dream of leaving my trek outside the chipshop :)
If you fall off try again !
