Dalby Last weekend

Did anyone have the experience of Dalby last weekend? It was freezing and the sand was in higher abundance than normal. My mate completely lost her rear brake through grit just tearing it apart. i'd heard you can go through pads in one ride but didn't believe...I do now. 2 Pairs ordered for my lovely new Trek!!

    thats why i dont ride dalby when its wet,i didnt think i could go through a set of pads in 1 day till i did it in a day,ive learnt by my own mistakes,dont use brake so much round dalby :lol:
