Storage Solutions

I live on the top floor of a block of flats, with no opportunity for storage.
So far I've been able to convince the girl I share with to let me keep my bike in the living room. However, I've now bought another bike, I'm going to be pushing it to keep them both there without some kind of ingenious storage solutions. I've seen the Mottez 2 Cycle Storage System and the Saris Bike Bunk. But has anyone found a cheaper option for good storage?

the pogo stick style ones are probably most compact optionmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Can you not keep the other bike in your bedroom, or is that shared space too? Nearly every room (kitchens and bathrooms excepted) has enough wall space to lean at least one bike against..0

Just turn it the other way and put against the one already there, it takes up virtually no more space!
Or drill into wall hang bikes up and when you move fill the holes, 5 min job.
Better still convince your sharer cycling rocks get her sorted with a bike and condemn yourselfs to tripping over bikes for ever more.0 -
Sorted!
