Hi all,

I've bought my first road bike since my paper round back in the early nineties.

I'm interested in going on a few rides, possibly joining a club close to wear I live - SW19.

Any ideas? I'm not a "racer", I do 15 miles a day commuting and looking for something geared towards a novice I guess. I did the Palace to Palace in 3 hours though without really pushing it, so i guess I have average fitness on the bike.

Appreciate any tips!

    Hi mate.
Have a look on the British Cycling Federation website. Pretty sure they list clubs all over the country.

Your not far from me then Deano.

I ride with Addiscombe CC, good friendly club catering for all types of riders from those just wanting a nice social ride to full on eyeballs out training rides and anything in between.

We meet at South Coulsdon station on a saturday from 9am onwards.

We have riders coming from all over the place and I wouldn't think its to far away for you. It's 6 miles to the station from where I am in Sutton, a nice warm up.

If you want anymore info or fancy coming along drop me a PM, don't mind meeting up and taking you along if it makes life easier.

    Cheers. :D
