Am ordering my shiny new Cannondale CAAD8 Tiagra roadie tonight :)

Also some M520 pedals in white :)

Just cooked some banging spaghetti carbonara :)

Think I have sold my cannondale commuter :)

Shall spend proceeds on some lighter wheels (straight away) for above bike :)

A weekend of doing absolutely nothing apart from drinking beer as leg is borked :) (:( for leg)

Hopefully I can ride again in 2 weeks, so some serious road miles shall be put in :)

EDIT: TO LOSE MY TONY SOPRANO GUT!!! :lol:

Makes a change from MEH!!!

    Yep, not long ago, its fab, and nice to ride, albeit a tad small for me. its what prompted me to get a 'proper' roadie. The existing dale is just an MTB with slicks on.

    But I havent got room/need for both :)

    So am getting rid.

    on the subject of a good evening, watching the hard times of RJ berger to solve my boredom, and having an evening off doing sodding homework/photoshop/indesign/general CS3 dicking around. eating lots of crisps, rice pudding and chocolate mouse :D.

    and earlier fixed my HT2 BB, sorted out my tyres for the weekend ride, and gave the bike a smidgen of a clean.

    all round good evening :)

    Tonight: I went to the pub then a fireworks display, came home and had a Chinese, watched lots of episodes of Peep Show, went for a walk at about 3am and I'm about to start my maths homework.

    A good night, all round.

    Last night was alright for me as well. Relaxed, tinkered with the bike, and watched a few MTB movies.

    day of meh now though, got a bloody sore throat so can't ride like planned.

    I also get paid to do that on daily basis, but I have CS4 atm and CS5 on the way and most of what I have to do is 'fix' the supposedly print ready artwork that 'designers' send to me, although I do get to do a bit of design myself.

    Let me know how you get on with the road bike. I was fooked after my first decent ride out. Apparently I have weak arms and shoulders, I am unable to climb hills and my fitness levels have evaporated overnight.

    Having said that, the speed felt awesome. I just wish the rain and wind would let up a bit and give me a chance.
