There are quite a few personalised registrations round our way - mostly GAZ and BAZ derivatives - but there are some good ones as well:
H4 XTR which I liked, just for the XTR part
G1 XER on a black pickup - maybe the owner has a Suzuki?
B11 ELR spaced to spell BUELR (motorcycle)
and
GF05 TER spaced to spell G FOSTER - awesome!
Seen any good ones lately?

Used to have a client once with numbers 11 1NCH and 12 1NCH. Needless to say he was a d*ck.
Best ones were in NZ. You can pick any six character plate you want except obscene words.
You could always tell ex South Africans - their plates swore in Afrikaans.I don't do smileys.

One of our traders has 0b0110x on his range rover, not 100% sure whether it's L's or 1's but makes me chuckle every time he comes in!
He bought it quite a few years ago for peanuts, apparently it's worth a fair whack now.0 -

Personalised number plates are gay. Unless they are funny. Like the all time classic PEN15 and 0RG45M. Other than that, they are pointless. We'll see things they'll never see...

I have to disagree. Personalised plates serve a very good purpose, they're an easy way to identify spacktards.
Even the examples you cite aren't funny, in any way. They don't even spell words. If you want to get a plate with your initials on it - fine. I'll mark you down as a twat, and it just makes you easier to remember when you drive badly. If you're the sort of idiot who has to try to use numbers to help spell a word, then it's easier for someone to remember your numberplate and thus find out where you live, come to your house at night, screw the windows and doors shut and burn your house down whilst you and your idiotic family sleep.0 -
57.4% of personalised plates are owned by BMW drivers, especially those with diesals who think they are good.0
