Thought as I was up early I would get a morning thread on...

Today shall be full of meh as usual, as my leg is still borked and I went back to work yesterday, and am going in today although I was uncomfortable and in pain :(

Get paid tonight (bang on 12 hopefully) and then I shall find out if I can purchase my roadie :) I get paid weekly, so if I do buy it, it means a weekend in (which shall be the case anyway due to injured leg) but at least I will have a new bike. shiny shiny!

Went into evans and they have agreed to price match the bike - touch!!!

Apart from that MEH!!!

    Morning,

Day off for me today, not a lot planned, except choosing parts for my bargain new frame.

    morning all,

i come to some random places with work!! i'm in tring today, i'd never even heard of it until i got here  ah well, at least i'm surfing on free hotel internet rather than paying £20 a day :D

should still be home by 6pm aswell..bonus :D
  • Hmmm, back at work today. Been up since 5 and sitting doing some paperwork now before heading out to meet up with some of the Great British public......and I really can't be bothered.

On a brighter note, I should be able to find time today to pop into Cycle Suregry to drool over some expensive kit I can't afford!
  • Working from home today. Planning on a 3pm finish and if these gales ease off a bit, maybe another ride tonight.

Reg D. Hunter supported by Steve Hughes was very funny. Made for a very pleasant evening and a nice change of pace.

Came to work in the car again, I am really sick of this rain. 8 hours of being bored at work with nothing much to do, then will be out on bike again this evening, with or without rain.

    Morning gang

major meh today, as I have to get up early tommorrow, man flu has taken hold and I've been told by a very reliable friend, and seen with my eyes that I need two new rear tyres on the car.

What's even more meh is the only tyres anyone has in stock anywhere in the country in my size are contis and are 160 notes a piece instead of the 90 I pay for Kumhos

Add that to this month's road tax, and the 27k service booked on Friday, plus new pads front and rear its been a very expensive car month which has wiped a big chunk out of my savings.

Looks like some overtime needs doing this month

    Good Morning Freaks!

My shiney stuffs better arrive this morning or I'm declaring war on CRC!

Meanwhile, another morning of meh in the office, which has been somewhat improved by one of my minions bringing in one of those 3 wheel push-charis that's got two punctures to be fixorated. Obviously my fee for such a task is a very large coffee and bacon baguette. :D

Only in the office this morning, then meeting up with an old friend for lunch and afternoon high-jinx. As the weather's crap, don't think we'll be doing any riding (even though I have a Coiler and riding gear subtly hidden in the boot of the Cakemobile).

Morning everyone, we won our hockey match yesterday and I suspect last nights activities are going to catch up with me later in the day, consequently I'm going to one lecture then I'm off to bed again

Then if I wake up in time I'm hoping to go bike shopping :D

    Morning y'all,

My day is meh. I've decided I hate people. More so upper management who tell you one thing when they mean another. Tosspots.

On another note, picked my 'new' bike up from the shop yesterday, and it's a monster.. a very nice monster :D

I managed to get a pair of Falkens in the end for 100 notes each, If they are out of stock I've booked it in and everything so I'm hoping I might get upgraded to contis if thats the case.

Just annoying how everything happens at once, I need the alloys refurbing too but theres no point doing that until the spring now

  • Well I'm now at work and bored senseless. I probably shouldnt say that as it'll just get busy now!
I'm now seriously considering going for a look in Evans and seeing if its worth buying a new bike to take advantage of the new bike loan scheme at work. I can get up to £1k interest free to spend on a new toy and get 10% off to boot :-)
  • Been and picked up the finished build from the shop earlier, rode it home which was sweeeet. Nice to finally be back on the bike!

Got to go into uni again soon, more work and lectures to do. Fun times.
