    Yeah my daughter pointed out a pair in JJB the other day and said most of her team wear them - I said what Lauren (the other girl) and she said no the boys. In my day you only got the Henry Ford choice.

    Yeah apparently Henry Ford did a few Model Ts in white - little known fact.

    Fibber, they used two different greys but never white. It's not true that they were only ever available in black.

    I was watching England on telly with my 10 year old son not long ago. He mentioned Adam Johnson's boots were Cranberry!!! I laughed a lot and cast my mine back to when I was a lad. Cranberry boots would have got you beaten up!

    Sorry Stewie G but it is a myth that model ts were only available in black. Many co;ours were done.

    Oh! Shades of grey :oops: Black and white film Fell for that one. Just off to hibernate.

    I usually tell my son that the more colourful your boots are the easier it is for the big centre-half to pick you out first! So it's black & white for him....... :)

    That suggests in the period 1915-1926 the option of any colour you like as long as it's black did apply!
