Hello Fellow Mountain Bikers,

My name is Randy, and in addition to being a NEMBA member I am a student at Tufts University studying Engineering Management along with my teammates Edward, Vanessa, and Jeffrey. As part of a New Product Development class, we have come up with a product idea which we think could be very beneficial to the mountain biking community and help to improve bicycle maintenence. In order to gather feedback and refine our product concept, we have put together a very brief survey (5 minutes). If you could pass this link along to other mountain bikers, we'd be very appreciative and value any suggestions or improvements that riders can think of!

Thank you for your time.

  • So it's a chain bath that stays attached to the bike at all times? Cleaning and re-greasing with every rotation of the chain? :?

I've completed the survey, but Idon;t see how I can answer the questions about would I buy it, and how much I'd pay for it etc without knowing more information. There's not even a picture of it. You've briefly explained what it is and sort of how it works. But I couldn't possibly make a purchase decision based on such limited info.

    Just my opinion.
  • I'm with cat no with no tail on this, that's not enough to base any form of proper judgement on the product, or put a price on it.

    Agreed. Poor survey.

Also, question 10 is broken. It will not allow you to give the same rating for more than one question. Or at least it didn't for me using Firefox.

They're asking you to rate in order of importance though. I see what you're saying, but I'd not expect it to let you use the same value for more than 1 answer, it's designed to make you rank them.
