Front lights

With lights now having various settings is it legal to ride with your front lights flashing??

    There was another enormous thread about this somewhere else about a week ago. I think the upshot was that no, you're supposed to have a British Kite Mark light or something as well but when someone spoke to the police about it they couldn't care less and the lights on their bikes are not even up to the legal standard anyway....

    No in fact flashing white lights are legal, no kite mark required.
