Those who do it know who they are!
You make the text smaller to indicate stuff you say under your breath or witty put downs.
This is how it looks on my screen,
it's incredibly frustrating to read and I have to hold cntrl and mouse wheel to make it bigger or cntrl + several times to be able to read it comfortably. The above two examples are not the worst cases of it either. I've seen some absolutely miniscule text used before.

Can we put subtext in italics or something. I can't be the only one to find this annoying can I, can I?
