Is this a mid life crisis?

People seem to think I'm behaving strangely:

I've bought 3 new bikes in the last few weeks and I haven't got rid of any. I'm now in double figures
When I had only  7 bikes, they all had a distinct purpose but these last 3 have just been 'cos I fancied them.
I am well aware of the n+1 rule, but i seem to be applying n+3

What should I do

Been there, but with my it was five classic BMWs. Too many. You'll find that you never get time to maintain them all and that some aren't rideable all the time, so you won't use them and they'll gather dust.

You need to downsize to a fleet you have enough resources to look after and keep in top condition. I'd stick a few on ebay.

I have four bikes: racer, tourer / winter, mtb and one for house guests.

The problem here is that you have too much money. This can be rectified by donating to the ChrisNoir benevolence fund for cash strapped Northerners who need carbon fibre. Your donation can make a difference.

    Is that all,

I've bought ten new bikes in the last thirty five minutes. All at over five grand each. I'll probably never ride a couple of them, just like the colour because it sets off the red in the ferrari I bought yesterday.

    What should I do?

Can I quote you to my Missus?

Mr t if you have a partner then convince them that they own 3 of them thus reducing your count. Of course you reserve all rights over any sale of the bikes. Simple. 8)
Why tidy the house when you can clean your bike?

Don't you just love the geeky-schoolboy style "I'm pretending to ask a question but I'm really just showing off" thing?

    jim453 certainly understands

Or to put it another way, buying lots of bikes is not necessarily a sign of anything much, but coming on here to boast about it definitely says something about you.

I hope you didn't buy them in Switzerland. I can't believe the prices they get away with over here.
