Maybe they're real round your way. Never, ever been spotted in this neck of the woods.

I had the pleaseure of a tail wind for about 100m last night. The rest of my ride I was either leant about 20 degrees to the left or to the right trying to ride in a straight line!

He gives with one hand and takes with another. I just wish I knew who he was so I could have a word.
  • I thought it was a well known fact that unless you have a headwind you are not riding fast/hard enough?

    Must try harder

There is no such thing as a tailwind - only headwinds and good days!!

Tail wind to headwind this morning. Jesus was like riding against a brick wall.

I'm just hoping that the wind from my way in to work this morning keeps up so I can have a good day on the way home :)

Shhhh...but "his" name is Gareth Bale!

I rode over Arthurs Pass in NZ a couple of years ago, after a tough climb I got to the top thinking about the wonderful long downhill all the way to the west coast...only to find that there was a block headwind all the way down and i actually had to keep pedalling just to keep going downhill!!

I've been in the granny gear going downhill on the way in to work on a couple of occasions (going into Scone for those with local knowledge)
