With direct drive to the wheel - it just feels different.
Less cleaning.
Less wear on brakes.
No faffing with gears.
No freewheeling - so you get a good workout.
Less to go wrong.
Less maintenance.
Supposedly better control in slippy conditions (not sure about that myself)
Its just a different ride from a normal bike. I like it.0 -
