I was feeling pretty poo last night so went to bed at 2100. I woke at 0830 and am now chilling with CoD for a few hours before showering and meeting the better half for lunch. That is my day. :)

Sat at work, can't concentrate, want to go out and play with my new road bike which is sat here at the side of me. (It's only for fitness training honest, I still prefer rocks, trees and mud).

    Might take a half day.

Going to see Reg T. Hunter tonight, that should be good.
  • Morning all,

It’s surprisingly mild out this morning, no need for any kind of jacket on the ride in. Went out last night with my Aldi jacket on and was dripping with sweat within about 20 minutes, it really is a winter jacket.

Played golf with the Dad and the Brother on Saturday, haven’t played in ages but I still did just as good (or bad) as them. I just played simple and kept the ball in a straight line, seemed to work for me. Went to North Downs on Sunday and I don’t think I’ve suffered so much on a bike in quite a while. The slippy terrain meant I was fighting the bike for the whole 2 ½ hours, I felt a mess by the end. My upper body has never hurt like that before, it felt like I’d had an off but I’d stayed on the bike (unlike another guy, who absolutely creamed his front wheel on a drop).

Today, I have a phone interview, so I didn’t have to worry about having a shave. :D

In other news, work are doing the C2W scheme again. They keeping hanging this carrot in front of me, but I don’t have room for another bike and my plan/desire is to not be working here for much longer. (See above) I just wish they’d put bloody showers in, then others might actually take up the scheme. (In 3 launches, not a single person from this site has bought 1 due to lack of facilities)

It’s nearly coffee and biscuit o’clock.

    Is it 5 yet?

    Meh. It's Wednesday.

Had an amusing time last night trying to use the roller trainer. Holy Clang it's difficult getting on the bike when it's 6 inches off the gound. Will be attempting more than 20 minutes tonight.

Today will be meh all morning, followed by MEH meeting this afternoon. Followed probably by MEH as Jnr and Jnr Jnr Spong attempt another fight to the death over a random toy.

    Meh.

    Good Morning Freaks! :D

Today, I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad... Doctor's appointment yesterday ascertained that I'm still alive, although I have very high blood pressure. Everything else is fine - colestoral, kidneys, liver and heart (very impressed with resting HR). Long term blood sugar has risen a tad, but this is probably due to the cold/virus I'm currently suffering from. However, the main issue is the blood pressure. Need to do a bit of research about that today.

Meanwhile, shiney lightweight stuffs should arrive this morning. Really should have brought some tools and my bolt/bitbob collection into work along with my scales for a bit of officetime fettling...

Also, the Mo is starting to take shape...*insert smiley with a moustache here*

Coffee-Minion will be dispatched shortly, along with instructions to bring back sliced fried pig.
  • I spent all day yesterday riding to and from the person I bought my new bike from, and now I have to go to University all day today which leaves no time for a ride at all.

So gay, and tomorrow I have to wait for our new washing machine to be delivered and then doctors in the afternoon so no ride tomorrow either. Friday needs to hurry up and get here.

Day of meh is in order for today.

I think it's time for a little ride around somewhere, not sure where yet, but I need to go for a ride, this afternoon will consist of playing hockey and trying to continue the winning streak before we have to play Imperial 1's and get completely raped by them...

This evening will consist of either celebrating our victory or celebrating the fact we won't have to play Imperial next week if we lose, either way I can see myself regretting it tomorrow

Then tomorrow morning/afternoon I'm going to try and buy a full suss because I really really want one and blatantly need one

Yah morning all. Very little to report from the Land of Meh other than last night's blast around Cannock was most excellent.

Having never been to Cannock, how does it hold up in these very wet conditions??

its colder and wetter in the queue for silks are the women are still generally as ropey and orange, but its a cheap night out

as for the monkey, i think its actually improved in the wet, its helped settle the trail aind its not as stoney as ftd,

So you're Pizza picking up arm has been well exercised.

Interview done. Haven't talked so much bollocks in a long time. Good thing about phone intyerviews, easier to blag. Was being asked questions and was answering yes to them while shaking my head at the same time, blagtastic.

Bacon and egg sandwich has been had for lunch, unfortunately not a hot 1.

Remarkably good last night, mostly dry despite the earlier rain. The Chase seems to shrug off showers and light rain then all of a sudden it saturates and you need a boat instead of a bike.

I took a wrong turn (as you do in the dark, they all look the same) and found a new trail! Woot! Those deer are fecking brilliant at building trails :D
