I am waiting to get a Gore phantom jacket but am unsure on what size to get ! i am a 44" chest which is on the cusp of XXl & XXXL according to the Gore website. My question is do they come up big or small. can anyone please advise me on what to go for please?

Different jackets are different cuts, so it depends which jacket and how 'fitted' you want it!
Edit: sorry, a Phantom, thats among the more relaxed ones, considering you're unlikely to want much underneath the XXL is probably sufficient. Can you not try one on?0 -
I'm a 42 chest and have a XL Phantom which fits fine...not a tight fit, suspect could have fitted a L if I had wanted more of a sleek roadie fit.I would guess an XL or XXL would do you.0

Hi I have a 42/43" is not a baggy fit but would be close to tight. The XXL would be way to big.I'm over 6' and have quite a large head.0

Bugger i have ordered an XXL now from Winstanley bikes but it looks like its going to take a while to get it. Cant find anywhere local that sells them so i can one on!0

As a precaution i ordered the XL which was in stock and came today. Nice jacket and fits nice although theright arm feels a bit restriced under my arm pit area! the left is plus i do have quite big arms, that said i think the XXl im still to receive would be a bit baggy elsewhere. Would prefer to wait till the XXL comes to compare but i am itching to wear it on Sunday at Cannock.....!0
