That broke into my car today at Cannock, stealing my waterproof jacket and £6 in change.
Learn to do it properly
And next time burn the evidence

I've been told it's nice and that the police have a match on there database and are going round!!!0 -
Urk! This has just put me off going for a mid week ride there now Hope they get the git0
-
Yeah I hope they get him too.
I'm gonna think twice about going again due to poor parking security.
Glad I took the old run around and not my new Lancer.
I would have been the first one at his door!!!0 -

Breaking into a car for a Jacket is pretty low :x0 -

I appreciate what you re saying, I do but it really gets my goat that, They should nt be flippity-flipping knicking stuff in the first place....We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

I'm thinking of going to Cannock next month and have read 2 stories this week of thefts from cars.
Should I be worried?0 -
beat the thieves at their own game, set your car on fire before you set off on a ride, NO-ONE will steal from a burning car, believe me!!0

Maybe parking in one of the nearby villages would be a clever idea, keep it inconspicuous (ie no bike racks on display etc) and nobody would be the wiser to the fact you're an outsider........at least that is till you come back on your bike and get jumped by some of the redneck locals for a remake of Pulp Fiction basement scene
Cannock, great riding but a strange place0 -

Can you tell us when, what car you'll be in, what gear you'll be taking and how long you'll be leaving it in the car unattended and I'll tell you if you should be worried or not.0 -
not if you are into dogging. Then its great riding in a great place.............0

yeah in the car park at birches valley right down bottom near the cafe and ticket machine.
The police said that they'd had loads of reports and they were building up a portfolio of the "Scum" (Officers actual words )
He also said it would not matter where I parked and they were just targeting easy vehicles to break into whether the stuff is on display or not. He said loads of break ins were going unreported and that it was becoming a big problem there.
I'll not be going again until they sort better parking arrangements out.0 -
I'm off tommorrow, anyone fancncy setting up a vigilante security squad? The crud-bashers? or cnut-bashers perhaps
Its sickening especially as it makes you wary also about your bike too, and no-one wants to go to the lengths of riding with a d lock in their bag0 -

arent all cars easy to break into?
brick + window = free stuff
sad but true, some people will just take the easy route. i once had my car broken in to and an EMPTY wallet nicked!! i know i shouldn't have left it on the dash but they got nothing apart from a well used o neil wallet and i got a hefty bill for a new window :evil:0 -

my best theif story has go to be....
my dad delivered motorbikes around the country and had a big sprinter van he kept at home, on the drive way.
the tea leafs broke into the house, got the keys moved the £20,000 van and about 8 grands worth of car to get into the garage to steal about a £4000 motorbike of my dads.
oh and the van had 4 brand new bikes in the back, dumbasses.0 -
