Storing a bike - Long term.

I'm going away in few months and i'll be gone for about 6 months. Has anyone got experiance of storing a mtb bike for long periods, anything I need to do i.e drain the hydraulics etc.....

I have been storing my bikes for the past 4 winters - I just put a bit of lube on the chain and moving parts of the mech and leave it. No worries, its always ready to roll when I get back with a bit of a tyre pump.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0

Nice, it's going in my brothers attic so should be dry and warmish.
