front shock not working again......

took my rockshox tora 302's into lbs in august as the they wasnt working at all,they where stiff and only giving me 100mm travel,lbs fixed them for free as still under warranty.
same thing has happened again at weekend,only 100mm of travel and gone stiff again,so back to lbs again tuesday,needless to say im not too happy.
anyone else had problems with these forks?

The lockout cartridge is called the Turnkey damper.
Well, it can happen, guess they should replace the cart this time.0 -
well i hope they sort it out this time,as same thing within 2 months has made me lost faith in lbs,and the forks.
i have remote lock out,if that makes any diff?0 -

yea had it unlocked.
had same problem in august,took it in and they said yes there is something wrong with it being lbs i bought the bike and shock from i didnt ask them what was wrong,as i trusted them.0 -
I doubt your LBS did any of the work as Forks/shocks generally have to go back to the manufacturer/importer/TFT or mojo for warranty work.If it's still under warranty insist on the parts being replaced or a replacement fork.
My E-150 worked perfectly for over 2 years,went in for it's 2 year service and has been back to TFT 3 times since May for failed parts,glad I kept to the service schedule as the part that failed is £185 a go.0 -
cheers ibbo,rang lbs up this morning,they only stripped and cleaned it last timei took it in,they are going to send it back to rockshox this time,said it shoud take upto 2 weeks.
looks like ill be on my hardtail with v-brakes this weekend,should be fun.

sorry for bringing this up again,but my forks are playing up again,took them in for 2nd time in nov 2010.
ive rode bike maybe 5 times since,and same thing again.
im only getting about 90mm of travel,ive tried anouther bike with tora 302 forks on them and they are super smooth compared to mine,that are stiff(again).
wondering if anyone knows if im within my right to ask for a new set of forks or my money back,the forks are 14 months old now,and this will be the 3rd time ive taken them back in for same thing,forks have a 2 year warranty on them.0
