In the new year I plan on riding the area , when I walked moel famau a few weeks ago there is a mountain bike route from the carpark so this is the first one I am going to do.

We do a lot of riding in the Clwyds there is some cracking riding and its never very busy most people ignore the area and end up riding Llandegla. I have ridden all the routes on this site and they are all good, my favourite is the MBR route.

Some good routes on here as well in the Berwyns and Snowdonia not too far from the Clwyds

Thanks Guys...that super helpfully!
Bit nervous about map reading...i am such a dizzy blond....are the routes pretty easy to follow? :oops:Biking whore of Wyre....rides with anyone!0 -
Some of the routes are easy to follow but the ones that get onto the tops can be a bit confusing. The routes arent heavily used so its sometimes not immediately obvious which fork to take. Unfortunately because I know the area so well I am probably not the best to tell you which routes are easiest to follow I couldnt get lost if I tried and we usually just make the route up as we go along. If your worried start from the Loggerheads park thats the busiest area.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0
