Hi guys

What has your experience of Rapha customer service been like? Mine has been very poor. I placed an order for a team issue rain jacket. A week late, despite it being in stock they still had not sent it so I cancelled the order. I tried again thursday. I ordered a softshell jacket and winter jersey and was told it would be sent out on friday special delivery. Nothing arrived on saturday or monday. Royal mail said they did not have it. On contacting Rapha this afternoon they had forgot to send it! I had to go and collect it in person. Not so much as a discount voucher in way of an appology

Is this normal for Rapha pr have I just been unlucky?

  • I've always had very good dealings with them in the past. You might just have been unlucky

I had them forget to send an order, and I got a 15% discount code as an appology

Always been good to me, even sent me 2 winter hats last year when I ordered 1.

I called and offered to send it back, they said if I had time and left it at that!

Everything else I have ordered has been delivered promptly, its just bloody expensive thats all.

Placed 2 orders last week, yet to be dispatched.

Seems they may be busy/ understaffed

    Previous orders dispatched same day

Wanted a handkerchief and diary and they wanted £290 plus a fiver postage and packing. Poor customer service.

You can have mine, they don't match my skintone
  • Ordered a pencil and colour matched baby wipe at a snip under £764. My order was personally delivered by Joan of Arc riding a fixed wheel unicorn wearing Paul Smith underwear. The order turned up 47 weeks late but it didn't matter because I was prepared to buy myself into the Rapha lifestyle whatever the drawbacks.
Let's close our eyes and see what happens
  • I don't mind paying for quality kit, i spend enough time on the bike. But the very least I would expect is for them to actually be bothered to send it. If there is a genuine problem, I'm an understanding type, let me know. Not just wait for me to chase you up.

I've never had to wait more than a few days for stuff. However I did ring an order through on a Thursday and the guy promised me they would go the same day so I had it for the weekend. Turned up on the Monday.
  • I tried to order some "cool" from them, but they didn't have any in my size :D

Yes, better to get the 'uncool' from Lidl. They usually have it in the wrong size as well, but it simply adds to the uncool look.
