4 MTFs and 3 TTs? Looks a bit like ASO have got their hands on the parcours (if it's true)0

If it is true someone will be getting a b*llocking:

Great to see the Angliru back, I think it looks like a great route. Let's hope the action is as good as last years cracker.0

In summary: http://www.velonation.com/News/ID/7068/Vuelta-2011-launched-will-return-to-lAngliru-and-includes-two-new-summit-finishes.aspxStarting in Benidorm on August 20th, the third Grand Tour of the season will feature 21 stages, a total distance of 3295 kilometres, two time trials and six summit finishes. With ten mountain stages in all, the advantage is definitely handed to the climbers as one of those time trials is a 16 kilometre team effort, while the individual test is just 40 kilometres long.
Following a penultimate day mountains showdown in Vitoria, the race will conclude on September 11th in Madrid.0 -

Blimey, that route looks a bit "Farewell to Catalonia". Who has offended whom? The older I get the faster I was0

Amazing route!
I like San Lorenzo del Escorial, Ponferrada (with Ancares Pass at least!) and Farrapona stages (climbs very good linked each other)
Angliru is nice too, but in my opinion never happens anything before last 7 km, a “youtube highlights”
Not enough TT and a bit boring last weekIf you like Flandes, Roubaix or Eroica, you would like GP Canal de Castilla, www.gpcanaldecastilla.com0 -
Anyone think it's a coincidence that this is the first year for years they're going into the basque country, in the same year ETA call a permanent ceasefire?0
-
Good to see a good number of stages in Galicia again - a beautiful part of the country; and some proper mountains there too.
Loads of climbing, but unlike the Giro no crazy multiple-hors-categorie-all-day-mountain stages ; hard to pick a real queen stage - the farrapona stage perhaps0 -
Farrapona is the qeen, no far from Angliru, but Ponferrada and San Lorenzo del Escorial are very hard as wellIf you like Flandes, Roubaix or Eroica, you would like GP Canal de Castilla, www.gpcanaldecastilla.com0
