pretty much as the title says !
I went up to Nottingham to stay with my Brother, so as he has a new bike, I took mine so that we could get a spin in.
On the flat, I had no problems, however, as soon as we hit an incline, I had nothing in my legs at all......... absolutely nothing !!! There were a couple of occasions where I had to use the granny ring !?!?!? I wasn't impressed ! We only did a 20mile spin, and usually I'll average about 16-17mph on my short 20mile loop I do at home; yesterday we averaged about 13mph !!!
I had a touch of the disco legs when I got home !
I'm going to put it down to having a few glasses of wine the night before, very little sleep (his 2yr old twins, an owl screaching all night, hot room, unfamiliar bed etc) getting up early, no breakfast, no warm up and a bit of a cold.
Well, that's my excuse and i'm going to stick to it !!

haha, we all have those days. I went out last Tuesday after a super heavy weekend, and it killed me to try to fly along on the flats, nevermind the ups!
You will feel much bettrer next time you go out mind!0 -
That sounds like a normal day for me0

My breathing wasn't laboured, no issue with holding a conversation whilst on the bike, I'd just got nothing in my legs other than that horrible leaden feeling.
It was somewhat emabaressing to be honest !Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.

Nah, it wasn't as bad as that, but it wasn't good. There was just nothing in my legs.Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.

I'm going to suffer big time after a twelve week lay off due to a recent knee op. Gently spinning on the rollers is one thing but hitting the road again is going to hurt0
