The first of Movember is upon us, and as a resuly, Myself and El Cap will be cultivating the finest of facial furs all in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity. You can sponsor us, Team HOMBRES at http://uk.movember.com/mospace/521796/ and every penny is gratefully received, so please give, even if its just a quid or two

Anyway progress will be charted on here. The rules state that day 1 is started clean shaven, which in itself is a challenge for me.

Please follow our progress and support our challenge

Thankyou

    DAY 1

Clean shaven, even my soul patch has gone in respect of the challenge. Not sure exactly what shape of tache I'm going for yet though. I hate being clean shaven though, firstly as it involves shaving, secondly, I looklike a potato with no stubble, anyway heres pic 1

I'm sorry to tell you, but beard hair is not actually a cure for cancer, despite what some hippies may proclaim.

But it does give some protection against Worms, Aids and Mrs Thatcher...

First "proper" Tache day, I've gone for the "Rufus Hound" for now, mainly because I can trim it down from there into whatever I go for. Almost had a disaster this morning though as I instinctively went for the top lip with the razor, I may have ended up with a Hitler, or at best a Poirot if I hadn't pulled out in time

  • My facial hair grows quite slowly and fair, so after 5 days you still wouldn't be able to see anything.
Then after about 2 weeks BAM, I get hit with the ginger beating stick and infected with its germs.
I'll just keep the facial hair as it is, not quite ginger/not quite a real colour.

Good work fellas. Keep up the pics!
