Hi folks,

Stuck between these two, does anyone own one that can give some views please? Mainly shooting outdoors, I like the bigger zoom of the Panasonic and some say better picture but the Sony has compass and sweep panorama...

Cheers

  • I have the Panasonic LUMIX DNC-TZ3..had it a few yrs now....seem to use more than my SLR as shots are excellent and sharp ...I know the newer models will have improved with more pixcels

ps I use a small tripod on zoom to get sharper pictures

I have used sony cyber shot for years, the carl zies lens is excellent, its so easy to pick up and click - never has a camera before given such results from a small package, and the sweep panaorama is the clincher for sheer versatility in my opinion

    good luck
