hi ive just bought a 2009 gt expert from pauls cycles iam a tad over 6ft and 32 inside leg i got the bike on wednesday built it up and thought wow the size of the frame is huge (large 20 inch) i was gutted because i had threw the box away and thought i wont be able to send it back anyway a mate of mine came round and said i was being daft it fitted me perfectly the only other choice was a 18inch wich i thought would be far to small (have i made the right choice) cheers pe1ter.

I have a large Avalanche and same size as you and it fit great but wifes medium man's avalanche has me banging my knees on the bars
  • I am 5'9, with 32 inside, Ive rode 20" bikes purfectly in the past so I bought a GT Aggressor XCR 20", it was bloody HUGE!! exchanged it for an 18" (Though I had to take it back again for frame problems) GT seem to make BIG Frames.

    i'm 5'10" and ride a Large Avalanche.
I prefer a long toptube which fits my long arms fine.
It's all down to preference and body shape. I like being stretched out and feel cramped on a 18" frame.
