Hiya,
We rode at Whinlatter today but couldn't find any info on the south loop as to how high you actually climb to the top of Hospital Fell.
We know the North is 200m of climb but haven't done that yet to compare the 2.
My hubby wants to know as he actually rode the climb to Hospital fell without pushing, which is rare for him
Anyone know the height of climb of the South Loop?
Many thanks,
Caz xx

The top of "Hospital plantation" is around 450/470 but I'm not sure if the south loop tops out or the actual height gain, but both the North and South loop top out at roughly the same height.0

According to my Garmin trace its a 200m elevation gain from ~300m to 500m.2010 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp
2010 Specialized Tricross Sport (commuter)

Hello,
Rode at Whinlatter last week and have full elevation profile on my website, started on the south loop before heading to the north and finishing with a blast around the blue. Very wet and vvery cold day. Info collected from my Garmin 205 which is strapped to my wrist on every ride.
