either north downs of chilterns tommorow??

Im planning a trip from my home in flattest suffolk, to find the finest hills and singletrack. no more than a 2 hour drive, tommorow.
Its got to be either the chilterns or surrey hills near leith hill i guess.

Any one got any info on ground conditions and rideabillity please.

    Surrey Hills are awesome. North Downs too, although they get more soggy.

    Bunch of us out there tomorrow. Check out the London Calling thread.

    Chilterns - dunno. Aston Hill is around there, and a cracking bit of downhill it is (if somewhat painful!), but I know nothing else about the Chilterns.

    Chilterns would be nearer for you.
