How do i go straight to the posts I have entered without trolling through everything ? If i ask a question and want to look at the subject for comments a week later there does not seem to be any way to look at only the things I have posted .
thanks, Rob

click on your user id and then "the show all post by"
"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I have the same probs sometimes if its been a while since posting, the only problem with clicking on your user I.D. is, as the OP says, you have to first find a post that you have made, which means you have to search through all the topics until you find it.

Would be much easier if you could simply just click on the Profile tab (top left) when you enter the main forum part, instead of it going straight to an 'edit' profile type thing with Reg. info/Prefs, it actually shows your profile as if someone else was viewing it, which you can then click to see your previous posts and have a separate edit profile feature.

whats wrong with the list of names at the bottom of the main page?
"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

  • On the subject of searching, how do you search for particular topic or keyword to avoid asking a question that has already been asked?

I was interested in peoples experiences with bike cams but when I search for 'cam' I just get loads of stuff about camelbaks.....

It must be me doing something wrong.

    Thanks

  • Thanks nick, but can't you just search discussion forums. I don't want to appear dumber than I am by asking some question that has already been done to death.
    Cheers

The inbuilt site search is, frankly, crap. Use a Google search instead. For example:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=cam+si ... .com/forum
  • Thanks WAIH. That works nicely.

either find your name at the bottom of the first page and click on that or put your user name into the search function.
