hydraulic brake problem (giant mph)

hi
i have used v-brakes all my life and ive just decided to move onto disc brakes. i then bought a pair of giant mphhydraulic disc brakes, when they arrived one of the brakes seemed fine but the other brake lever was out of its socket. as i hve never ued this type of brake i dont know if th is a normal problem or if it need profesional attension..?

Same problem here. Seems like that rubber seal is all that holds it in.

I seemed to have missed the photo last time.
there should be a C clip that holds the washer in place that keeps the adjuster rod in place on the piston.
talk to your Giant dealer or go to a place that does internal C clips."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
