Help with Itunes and albums plsss

Hey guys, hoping some one can help me here.
Some times Itunes splits my albums in 2 or even 3. I have used MP3 tag to ensure that all the tunes have the same album name etc but still it thinks that it is 2 albums. I have also used the 'get info' option on itunes to state that it is part of a compliation but still have the same prob.
Can any one help?

Some of the info within the tracks differs, making iTunes believe it's a different album
You may have to change the "Get Info" parameters on the individual track, so for example the album has 10 tracks, but iTunes sees it at two albums, one containing 9 tracks and one containing a single track.
Check the Get Info fields on the 9 tracks, but select it as an individual track (don't select multiple tracks), select the "Info" tab and check the settings, then select "Next" to check the next song. You will see the differences within the fields that make iTunes see them as multiple items. Change the relevant info and it will appear as a single albumChunkers1980 wrote:Death to iTunes.

I agree, but most programs, if not all, are also programed for windows, so agian, i dont see the main benfits of switching, and your everyday tom dick and harry, arent always educated or familier with the unix command protocal.0 -
An alternative is to select all the tracks, got to Get Info and rewrite the album name in the box to maek absoloutlry sure they haqve the same name - i ve had 2 CD albums/compilations that hav different album names!We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence
