Did they buy that second hand 4/5 years ago?
Not sure what one it is but that looks more like older technology to me, I'd not be surprised if that was 90s/early 00s.
Wolf ridge and the likes were out 3/4 years ago and that doesn't look like the model before.
I wouldn't pay £100+ for that anyway.Current steed is a '07 Carrera Banshee X
+ cheap road/commuting bike0 -
looks like it could be a 1st gen Mt Vision. Marin might be able to help if you get the frame number from the seller.0

Nah its not a Mt Vision, its a more basic model, i'm gonna say 2000 / 2001 Shoreline Trail.
If everything works ok on it then it probly wouldn't be to bad for £100, i wouldn't want to spend much more on it tho.0 -
I agree, probably shoreline... 1997 ish.A Flock of Birds
+ some other bikes.0 -
Actually, I am thinking 1998 East Peak....A Flock of Birds
+ some other bikes.0 -
Frame is identical to my Mark 1 Mount Vision, from '98.0
-
So is the swingarm.0

glad its promoted loads of speculation, i've been searching google images for days now and can't quite ID it correctly. The seller is aiming to provide more info on Sat but thanks for your views.0

Definatly not Mt Vision or other highish spec model, its got (origional) cheapo chainset and basic rear shock, plus its got disc mounts so no older than 2000, imo.0

Those tyres :shock:0

Its definitely the same frame as the original MkI mount vision, which were the lighter, slightly less heavy duty, shorter travel version of my original MkI wolfridge (in my sig)0
